Mindfulness

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.

Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them.

Mindfulness is a way of being and a valuable life skill you can develop.

Mindfulness enables you to change your life from operating on  autopilot to innerpilot!

Mindfulness Practices

There are two types of mindfulness practices:formal and informal.

Formal practices include guided and silent mindful meditations and mindful movement which is similar to yoga.

Informal practices are those where we practice mindfulness 'off the cushion'. These include mindful eating, mindful walking, mindful drawing, mindful writing, etc. The possibilities to practice mindfulness during our day to day pursuits is limitless.
